New website for Lauritzen Fonden

Structural changes made at the end of 2009 provided clearer lines for the Lauritzen Group’s operating companies to the foundation which also changed its name from ”JL-Fondet” to ”Lauritzen Fonden”. As part of this, the website has been updated. The aim has been to further develop it as a dynamic tool and source of information for those with commercial or general interest.

At the same time, we are pleased to publish a brand new article on our cultural and historic identity by Morten Hahn-Pedersen, Director of the Fisheries and Maritime Museum in Esbjerg. The article is titled “A man came to town, Ditlev Lauritzen and Esbjerg, 1884-1914”. It is also interesting because it continues the theme right up to the present day. We are pleased that it is now available as a PDF file in Danish and English.
