Category

Short non-skills enhancing course/education

This might for example be for courses/education that are not directly job-related (and thus not eligible for support from your own company) but which generally lead to personal and/or professional qualifications such as: 

  • Technical courses
  • Management courses
  • Language courses
  • Personal development
  • Courses for employees with different ethnicity


Grants

Up to DKK 60,000 for 3 weeks
Up to DKK 40,000 for 2 weeks
Up to DKK 20,000 for 1 weeks

Supplementary conditions

Education/training may be in Denmark or abroad with courses lasting 1, 2 or 3 consecutive weeks and must be attended when off-duty/on holiday. Details of the course must accompany your application.

A certificate/documentation is issued on completion of the course/training
Courses must be for at least one week.

General
condition

You have at least 12 months of service in the company - you are qualified to take the course and the company is recommending you for the course.

Grants are not normally made at the same time as the state retraining or special leave schemes, etc.

You can make more than one application for educational grants and in exceptional circumstances, maximum amounts can be exceeded.
